This year I turned 34 years old. My boss bough me this beautiful cake from a local cakery in Olympia. Double-chocolate-- is there any other kind?
Joe and I went to Seattle to the Seattle Aisian Film Festival to view my aunt Grace's film, "American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs." We ate dinner at California Pizza Kitchen- my favorite restaurant. As we left the restaurant, a blizzard began and made our voyage back to the peninsula perilous and intensely distressing.
Joe took the boys to Macy's to get a birthday present and a Baskin Robins ice cream cake just like my dad used to get for me. Life is good.
